FISHING
Saturday morning I got up early, dressed quietly, made my lunch,
grabbed the dog, slipped quietly into the garage to hook the boat
up to the truck, and proceeded to back out into a torrential
downpour. The wind was blowing 50 mph.
I pulled back into the garage, turned on the radio, and discovered
that the weather would be bad throughout the day.
I went back into the house, quietly undressed, and slipped back
into bed.
There I cuddled up to my wife's back, now with a different
anticipation, and whispered, 'The weather out there is terrible.'
My loving wife of 40 years replied, 'Can you believe my stupid
husband is out fishing in that weather?'
I still don't know to this day if she was joking, but I've
stopped fishing.

Not often am I hosting a night at the 4Mile anymore but when I do its truly a pleasure. Not only seeing your smiling faces, chatting to singers and listeners but I get to work with Jules too. So many late comers were disappointed, well come early then people hahaha. Adrian, awesome voice mate as well as Karen, Glenn the barman, and all the regulars (too many to mention LOL) were all there for the party. Nice to see the support and appreciation for each other, singing along, clapping and yelling it realy makes the singers enjoy it just that little bit more, keep it up. I had a blast and hope to see each of you next time at 4Mile.

Thanks Joolz and the C-Man for another great night at the Bonneyview.
It was nice to catch up with Cheyanne and Don after being away for so long. It was so nice to have you both back....I wish you could stay.
I must say Ma & Pa scrub up really well and looked pretty spesh in their glitzy threads.
I don't think Mongo has batteries and I don't think he ever stops either - I get exhausted just watching him bounce around on the dance floor!
Well done Joolz on your first gig, keep it up you'll be a pro in no time.
I can't wait for next week so we can do it all again.

Hey hey crazy kids !!! We had a fantastic night at the Bonny, a venue I always love . . . . often normal for the night to start out quiet, however the room filled very nicely a little later on!! Many new faces in the mix and some great song choices from Stewy, Stoney, Clive and our ass-shakin dancer Mongo (someone honestly needs to remove his batteries at the end of the night, this guy makes me want to sleep from all his bouncy energy HAHA). Thanks to our regs for your ongoing support, we love to see ya there week after week havin a great time. Kev and Trish detoured to the Bonny for a quick visit on their way home from a VERY classy dinner - I must say guys WU-WUUUUUUUUU re the "threads" (that was my bad attempt at a wolf-whistle hahaha).
This was my first full time hosting gig with Funda and I had an absolute blast . . . BIIIGG thanks to C-Man, my partner in crime for the night, loved working with ya mate, thanks so much for the support !!!

Chrispi and I had a real rippa of a night at the Royal English Hotel last night.....it took me 2 hours to fall asleep when I got home as I was still full of beans!
We a great variety of singers with some more new faces as well as our regulars who had an energetic crowd to sing to.
Narelle sang a couple of new songs last night and I must say that she did a fantastic job of singing Patsy Cline's "Crazy"....it was truly awesome and I can't wait to hear it again. Well done!
It was nice to see CZA and Judy who popped in to say hello.....thanks for stopping by, it's always nice to see you both.
Helen and Bec were back again so I think we have another 2 regulars cuz Helen said they can't get enough! LOL!
Helen sang some great song choices too and she stirred Chris and the boys down the front with their enthusiastic and interesting dance moves!
That includes you too Dave :)
